eFundraising Connections Invites Nonprofits To Use Platform For GivingTuesday

Nationwide credit-card processing platform offers zero start-up costs and no monthly fees to nonprofits seeking customizable donation pages, donation progress bar, and more this giving season

eFundraising Connections readies new and existing features to help nonprofit users raise more money online.

eFundraising Connections, a credit card processing platform for nonprofits, allows users to create event fundraising pages and custom donation pages to meet campaign goals. The company, which offers zero start-up costs and no monthly or hidden fees, invites nonprofits to use its service for GivingTuesday 2022 on Nov. 29.

After eFundraising Connections’ success supporting GivingTuesday 2021, the company developed a new feature for users: a fundraising thermometer/donation progress bar to showcase donors’ efforts in near real-time. This enhancement can be added to the platform’s already customizable donation pages.

“We are always looking to implement new features that can better convey our users’ stories,” said BJ McCullough, eFundraising Connections’ account manager. “We thought a donation progress bar or thermometer would be a great option for new and existing nonprofits to use for GivingTuesday and beyond.”

eFundraising Connections was founded in 2007 to assist campaigns and nonprofits of all sizes to raise more money online. eFundraising Connections offers an integrated online giving platform with donation forms that are easy to create and customize, helping nonprofits reach fundraising goals while ensuring they receive accurate contribution and donation data.

Nonprofits, including regional Rotary Club chapters, civic leadership, and museums, use eFundraising Connections to improve returns on primary revenue-generating fundraisers.

Allison Cagley, the executive director of Friends of Sacramento Arts and long-time eFundraising Connections user, used the customizable event fundraising pages for a local Jazz festival in 2022, which helped the organization raise $63,000 against an initial goal of $50,000.

“It did really build awareness for our organization, and we had good media coverage that enhanced our presence,” Cagley said. “BJ is just great, and she’s super responsive. I’ll send a question, and she’s just right on it.”

The Origins Of GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. It serves as the kickoff to the charitable season and year-end giving. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the initiative.

Giving Tuesday is “a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world,” according to GivingTuesday.org. Organizers at the 92nd Street Y and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City launched GivingTuesday in 2012 to encourage people to do good.

The movement is now an independent nonprofit working to unite people, communities, and organizations to celebrate generosity and raise support for nonprofit organizations.
