ERTC Eligibility/Tax Credit Rebates – Optimized Application Service Launched

Changes made to the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program in 2021 expanded the eligibility to include many business owners who previously did not qualify, leading to a surge in the number of applicants. As a result, the wait time for rebates has increased, which led to Media Retina devising their newly launched fast application process, which helps business owners reserve their spot in line.

Currently, Media Retina is the only company offering the recently launched 15 Minute Refund program, which allows employers to complete the entire application process in 15 minutes or less, with audit-proof documentation. As a firm that specializes in nothing but ERTC applications, their certified public accountants (CPAs) are highly skilled in the specific requirements of the tax rebates program.

Rebates are available for wages paid to both full and part-time employees for 2020 and 2021. The CPAs excel at maximizing their client’s claims, up to $26,000 per employee, or $33,000 per employee for startups.

Employers who have already received funds through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) are also eligible for rebates through ERTC. The Consolidated Appropriations Act, passed in 2021, removed the eligibility restriction that allowed business owners to enroll in only one of the two pandemic relief programs.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act also increased the total amount business owners could claim per employee, extended the time span for the ERTC program, and expanded the eligibility to include more businesses. Employers with up to 500 full-time employees are now eligible, as well as startups, non-profit organizations, and new businesses.

Unlike the PPP, ERTC rebates are not a loan and never require repayment. There are also no restrictions on how the funds can be spent.

To get pre-qualified for a rebate, business owners need to answer 10 non-invasive questions about their business, which ask for no proprietary information. With those answers, the ERTC experts can determine if they are eligible and should proceed with the application. There is no obligation to continue the process after the eligibility questionnaire, and no cost to apply unless a rebate is received.
