Nature conservation company, Ever Wonder Adventure, has launched a new travel package for the little-known tropical paradise called Palawan, located in the Philippines. Other than being voted as the best island in the world by many lifestyle magazines, Palawan is also home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
More details can be found at https://www.everwonderadventure.com/support-us
The new package is designed to explore all of Palawan, considered by nature conservationists as the “last ecological frontier”. Other than island hopping in Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan, visitors can also see (and interact with) several marine animals. One example would be Honda Bay, where visitors can snorkel and encounter the white shark and other small fish. Because of the pristine waters, individuals can see each animal perfectly and even try petting them.
Ever Wonder Adventure stresses that one of the most beautiful things to experience in Palawan is a visit to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. The UNESCO Heritage Site features a vast limestone cave with an underground river.
Its distinguishing feature from other caves is that the river emerges directly into the sea, forming an essential “mountain-to-sea” ecosystem. Many nature conservationists go to Palawan to study this ecosystem because it is home to several endangered marine species.
Ever Wonder Adventure believes that everyone has the responsibility to take care of nature’s resources. As stewards of the planet, all humans must take steps to save and restore the environment. These steps can be as small as not throwing trash on the street to as big as starting a conservation effort.
The company also offers several other travel packages all around Asia, ranging from 8 to 18 days.
As seen on the website, “From turquoise waters to lush jungles, Puerto Princesa promises a diverse range of natural wonders that captivate the senses. Immerse yourself in the harmony of lush vegetation, serene beaches, and vibrant marine life. As you explore, you’ll discover the unique blend of nature and culture that makes Puerto Princesa a paradise worth exploring.”
