Tucson Intensive Outpatient Program for Drug & Alcohol Addiction Launched

With its latest move, the Tucson-based addiction treatment center combines accessibility and accountability to help clients achieve lasting sobriety. The team uses evidence-based therapies to address the underlying cause of drug and alcohol dependency.

Catalina Behavioral Health announced the update as part of its commitment to treating co-occurring disorders, alcoholism, and drug dependency. With a team of experienced and compassionate clinicians, it provides treatment without the need for detox or 24-hour supervision.

Health industry research shows that 21 million Americans have at least one addiction, with drugs and alcohol being the most prominent. The numbers are increasing, but most fail to seek treatment.

The IOP program from Catalina Behavioral Health allows patients to recover from their dependency issues or substance abuse while maintaining lifestyle freedom. As part of the service, clients meet with their health professionals for three hours a week or more. After each session, they are free to go home.

This makes it an effective addition to other treatment programs and can assist clients who are returning to their families following inpatient care. It is also effective for those who are studying, or who want to maintain a work/life balance while managing their substance abuse issues.

Catalina Behavioral Health uses group treatment, individualized treatment planning, and support group therapy in combination with a variety of other approaches. Life skill workshops can also be incorporated as part of a holistic treatment solution.

In addition to the intensive outpatient program, the center also offers a more adaptable range of outpatient solutions. Other services include partial hospitalization with additional structure and support, and rehab services centered around mental health treatment. Some forms of AHCCCS insurance are accepted.

A spokesperson for the center states: “Do you have a loved one who is battling alcohol addiction? Do you feel you need the help of an alcohol addiction treatment center but you fear judgment from your friends and family? If you have answered yes to either of these questions, know that you are not alone in your struggle.”
